RESPONSIBILITIES:

Customer Service & Interaction

• Interacts with customers in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner at all times.


• Deals with customers professionally, fostering goodwill and a positive image of the Company.

Cash Handling & Financial Accountability

• Accepts full responsibility for the float, ensuring it is correct at the start of the day and when returned at the end of the day for safekeeping.


• Accepts cash, cheques, credit cards, and gift vouchers in exchange for goods in accordance with Company guidelines.


• Informs the Senior Cashier of any discrepancies, who will in turn notify the Assistant Manager (Administration).

Transaction Processing & Accuracy

• Ensures that all purchase data is captured correctly.


• Ensures that all purchases are captured under the correct allocation on the cash register.

Housekeeping & Work Area Maintenance

• Takes responsibility for keeping the working area and till point clean and tidy at all times.

Team Support & Operational Assistance

• Assists with any other reasonable tasks when requested by the Assistant Manager (Administration).

Professional Conduct & Compliance

• Acts responsibly and professionally at all times.


• Complies with Company policies regarding uniform standards.


• Maintains a neat and presentable appearance at all times.

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (Essential)


• Available to work weekends and public holidays


• Reliable transport to Rosebank, Cape Town


• 2+ years experience as a cashier
