How you'll role

As a Medical Dispatcher, you'll provide clinical support . You will coordinate and oversee all medical transfers and high acuity rescues, ensuring that every patient receives the right level of care, from the first call to hospital handover. This role requires advanced medical knowledge, particularly in maternity, neonatal, and trauma cases and the ability to guide both patients, ambulance teams and hospital teams with calm authority. You will also support during complex medical incidents, providing effective pre-arrival care and safe coordination of resources while managing all inter-hospital transfers.

What you'll do

• Provide clinical support: Monitor all ongoing medical cases and provide support for high acuity cases and all hospital referrals

• Assess and escalate: Review vital signs and patient reports during live cases, identifying red flags and ensuring appropriate escalation or intervention

• Coordinate patient transfers: Manage inter-facility transfers, ensuring that each patient receives the appropriate level of care and transport

• Optimize emergency response: Use cutting-edge tools to track and deploy the right providers, ensuring we reach every patient as fast as possible

• Collaborate with medical facilities: Liaise with hospitals to ensure clear communication and smooth handovers

• Contribute to continuous improvement: Analyze case data, identify patterns or process gaps, and work with operations and training teams to improve medical dispatch protocols
