Operations Manager – Medical Equipment | Northern Suburbs, Cape TownHealthcare Support Services | Operations / AdministrationFull-time | Office-based Our client, a growing healthcare support services provider specialising in the rental and management of medical equipment, is seeking a highly organised Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational, administrative, and customer service functions of the business. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth operational delivery, including medical aid billing, equipment coordination, customer support, and general operational management. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and management skills, a practical mindset, and the ability to maintain high service standards within a healthcare environment.
Key Duties
  • Manage medical aid billing, invoicing, statements, and payment follow-ups
  • Oversee equipment scheduling, availability, and movement across locations
  • Coordinate with installers regarding equipment servicing and maintenance
  • Compile operational reports, schedules, and general business summaries
  • Manage supplier, customer, and internal operational communication
  • Supervise junior staff and ensure smooth daily office operations
  • Maintain organised administrative systems and rental contract records
  • Assist with Meta/Facebook advertising campaign management and reporting
  • Support procurement and participate in regular equipment stock takes
Requirements
  • 3–7 years’ experience in an operations, administration, or business management role
  • Experience with medical aid billing or healthcare administration (advantageous)
  • Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Experience with Meta/Facebook Ads or digital marketing platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Must reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town
