Job Description:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our Freight company. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing data, creating estimates, and ensuring accurate costing for freight transportation services. Your role will play a crucial part in the pricing and profitability of our services, and you will work closely with various teams to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
• Responsibilities:
• Analyze data, such as shipment types, distances, and delivery timelines, to create accurate estimates for freight transportation services
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to understand project requirements and develop cost estimates
• Monitor industry trends, market rates, and competitor pricing to ensure competitive pricing strategies
• Prepare and present estimates to potential clients, negotiating pricing when necessary
• Track and report on estimation accuracy, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure estimates are clearly understood and executed accurately
• Key Skills:
