Key Responsibilities

Client Support & Administration

• Assist with onboarding new clients, including gathering and verifying required documentation (FICA, applications, etc.)
• Prepare client files, meeting packs, and financial review documentation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and databases
• Schedule client meetings and manage follow-ups

Financial Planning Support

• Assist in the preparation of financial needs analyses and basic planning recommendations
• Support the drafting of proposals and quotations
• Conduct basic product and market research
• Work closely with the advisor to understand financial planning strategies

Operational & Compliance Support

• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards
• Submit and track applications with product providers
• Follow up on outstanding requirements and business processes
• Liaise with internal teams and external service providers

Requirements

• Recent graduate in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong interest in building a career in financial services
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Financial Planning or related field (essential)
• RE5 (advantageous but not required)
