Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Turner Lathe Machinist with a Red Seal certification in Hydraulics to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precision tools and machinery to fabricate parts and components for various hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC and manual lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
Duties:
Operate and monitor lathe machines to produce components with tight tolerances for hydraulic systems.
Interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each job.
Perform quality checks on finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machine performance or part quality.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.

Red Seal certification in the field of Hydraulics.
