A custom-made solutions for filtration, separation and industrial company is looking for a energetic and self motivated Process Filtrations Sales Engineer that understands the Mining Industry.
Qualification:
· Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Degree is essential. Commerce Degree or Diploma preferably in Business or Sales Management. It is essential to have Process Filtration Equipment experience.
· Proven record of accomplishment of working in Project Houses (EPCM/EPC) and Mining Houses are essential.
· Hands-on involvement in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
· Experience with Filtration Systems, including Consumables and Capital Equipment (e.g., Filter Presses, Horizontal Vacuum Belt Filters, Disc Filters, etc.)
· Experience in managing Key Accounts and supporting process improvement projects (Local and Export).
· Proven record of accomplishment in developing and travelling into the African region, coupled with technical selling. Experience developing and closing deals in new or emerging markets.
· Experience in Dust Extraction and Dust Filtration is essential. Wet Filtration is desirable.
· Technical knowledge and experience in the Filtration Industry, Mining and Heavy Industry will be an added advantage.
· Computer Literate i.e., Outlook, Online Meetings, MS Word, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, Pastel Manufacturing Accounting.
· Have the temperament to handle/deal with stress and pressure.
· English and French are required.
· Three (3) to Five (5) years’ Sales experience serving in Technical Sales in the Mining, Export, or Industrial Industries. Technical knowledge and experience in the Mining, Export or Industrial Industry will be an added advantage.
· Good Financial understanding of figures, costings, and calculations.
· Ability to draw and interpret Technical Drawings.
· Work will require some local travel; thus, a valid driver’s license is essential with own car.
· Must be prepared to travel into Africa.
· English (required), Zulu, French or Portuguese (advantageous)
Candidate Requirements
Duties:
To maintain and develop local and African export mining markets.
· Provide technical support to clients and sales teams on the selection, application, and performance of filtration consumables and capital equipment.
· Traveling to different regions of Africa
· Conduct site visits, process audits, and trials to assess system performance and recommend process improvements.
· Collaborate with Project Houses, Mining Houses, during design, commissioning, and implementation phases.
· Prepare technical documentation, including proposals, process flow diagrams, and performance reports.
· Manage key client relationships, ensuring technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnership growth.
