Job Description:The Financial Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budgeting, and sound financial control. This role plays a key part in supporting business decisions by providing financial insights and maintaining the financial health of the company.The Financial Manager oversees accounting processes, monitors cash flow, prepares financial statements, and ensures compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The role also involves working closely with department heads to manage budgets and improve overall financial performance. Key Responsibilities:Managing daily financial operations and accounting functionsPreparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reportsBudgeting, forecasting, and financial planningMonitoring cash flow and managing working capitalEnsuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policiesOverseeing accounts payable and receivableManaging tax submissions and statutory requirementsAssisting with audits and liaising with external auditorsAnalysing financial data and providing insights to managementImplementing and maintaining financial controls and procedures
Job Specification:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Professional qualification such as CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA (advantageous)
Experience:
Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role
Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis
Previous supervisory or management experience preferred
Skills and Competencies:
Strong analytical and financial management skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Good understanding of financial regulations and compliance
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Additional Requirements:
Strong problem-solving skills
High level of integrity and professionalism
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications:
