Our client is looking for a driven and technically skilled Junior Electrical Engineer / Technician to join their innovative team. This role is essential in supporting the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical infrastructure across a variety of projects, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and contributing to high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Understanding of electrical services related to buildings and renewable infrastructure systems, mining infrastructure requirements, commercial construction industry practices, etc.

•  Ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, and standards.

• Develop electrical designs and specifications.

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.

•  Oversee construction activities, provide technical guidance, and resolve any problems that may arise during the construction phase.

• Conduct quality control checks and site inspections.

• Prepare conceptual designs and the ability to evaluate different options objectively, both technically and commercially, based on project goals/requirements.

•  Provide technical support and expertise to clients.

• Travel to sites as needed for client interaction and/or OEM supplier premises.

• Report and escalate problems to management as needed.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Job Requirements:
· National Diploma or BTech  in Electrical Engineering.
· 2–3 years’ experience in the electrical or consulting industry.
· Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, design standards, codes  and practices.
· High level of proficiency in MS Office / Google Suite.
· Experience with design software
·  Experience with Revit / AutoCAD will be advantageous.
· Knowledge of renewable energy systems (PVSyst / PVsol advantageous).
· Understanding of building services, mining infrastructure, and commercial construction practices.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage project scope and timelines effectively.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to manage changes to the project scope and project schedule using appropriate verification techniques
·Understanding of electrical services related to buildings and renewable infrastructure systems, mining infrastructure requirements and commercial construction industry practices.

Hoof Verantwoordelikhede:

• Begrip van elektriese dienste verwant aan geboue en hernubare infrastruktuurstelsels, mynbou-infrastruktuurvereistes en kommersiële konstruksiebedryfpraktyke, ens.
• Verseker voldoening aan bedryfskodes, regulasies en standaarde.
• Ontwikkel elektriese ontwerpe en spesifikasies.
• Werk saam met kliënte, argitekte en ander belanghebbendes om projekvereistes te verstaan.
• Hou toesig oor konstruksieaktiwiteite, verskaf tegniese leiding en los enige probleme op wat tydens die konstruksiefase mag ontstaan.
• Voer gehaltebeheerondersoeke en terreininspeksies uit.
• Berei konsepontwerpe voor en beskik oor die vermoë om verskillende opsies objektief te evalueer, beide tegnies en kommersieel, gebaseer op projekdoelwitte en vereistes.
• Verskaf tegniese ondersteuning en kundigheid aan kliënte.
• Reis na terreine soos benodig vir kliëntinteraksie en/of OEM-verskafferpersele.
• Rapporteer en eskaleer probleme na bestuur soos benodig.
• Vermoë om effektief in ’n spanomgewing te werk en met diverse belanghebbendes saam te werk.
