RPO Recruitment's client, a reputable and established building contractor in Cape Town is seeking a proactive and hardworking Junior Building Foreman to join their team and assist in overseeing site operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
• Assist in managing site teams, subcontractors, and labourers.
• Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Monitor site progress and report to senior foremen or project managers.
• Assist with material management, equipment allocation, and site documentation.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in residential or commercial building projects is preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction methods, tools, and materials.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
