Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping team and ensure that our facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for training and supervising housekeeping staff, implementing cleaning procedures, and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies. The Housekeeping Supervisor will also be responsible for inspecting and maintaining guest rooms to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness and conducting regular performance reviews of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Assign and delegate cleaning tasks to team members
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure they meet cleanliness standards
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and reorder supplies as needed
- Handle staff scheduling and conduct performance reviews
- Respond to guest complaints and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient operations and guest satisfaction
- Follow company policies and procedures related to safety and cleanliness standards

Qualifications:
- Matric / Grade 12
- 3+ years of experience in housekeeping or related field
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
