At Wheco, efficient procurement and logistics coordination are essential to keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring timely deliveries to our distribution centres. As the business grows, the team plays a key role in managing volumes, maintaining accurate cost estimates, and supporting seamless logistics processes. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised individual who enjoys working with numbers and coordinating activities in a structured environment.
Support procurement and logistics operations through accurate estimating and coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Request and review cost estimates from suppliers
• Assist with cost comparisons and data capturing
• Coordinate inbound logistics and deliveries to distribution centres
• Monitor shipment status, ETAs, and delays
• Liaise with suppliers, forwarders, and internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records
Skills and Requirements:
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Minimum Requirements:
• Grade 12
• 1–2 years’ experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain support
• MS Excel proficiency; ERP system experience advantageous
• Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Administration advantageous
