Key responsibilities of the Human Resources Intern will include, but not limited
to:
• Supporting the recruitment process
• Facilitating the employee onboarding process
• Assisting with administration of employee leave, time, and attendance
• Coordinating performance appraisals and probation meetings
• Assisting with employee transfers, promotions, and general HR requests
• Facilitating the employee exit process
• Administration of provident funds, medical aid, and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
• Updating and maintaining HR databases
• Support employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and event planning.
Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 (Matric);
• Bachelor or Post Graduate degree (or pursuing) in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or a related field
• Solid computer literacy is a must;
• Good typing and administration skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
• A strong sense of teamwork;
• Ability to prioritise work efficiently;
• Deadline driven;
• Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and/or deadlines;
• Use initiative and follow through on tasks;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Punctual, flexible and reliable;
• Good work ethic.
