Specialized Artisan , Mechanical and Fitting (Diesel Mechanic)

The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

Maintain and operate Main Generation farms diesel engine to ensure equipment is at all times functional to be operated during normal and emergency operations

You will have the following:

•  Qualified Diesel Mechanic Artisan or equivalent
• Must hold a valid trade certification.
• Must have completed relevant safety and risk assessment training and courses
• Must have at least 6 years’ experience as a post qualified trade tested artisan in the mining sector
• Must have at least 6 years' experience in maintaining and repairing industrial rotating machines, specializing on MTU (Rolls Royce) Perkins and Caterpillar diesel machines.
• Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Knowledge of French, Swahili, and Mandarin will be considered highly advantageous.

Technical Skills should include:

• Background knowledge on industrial rotating machines. Specializing on MTU (Rolls Royce) Perkins and Caterpillar diesel machines
