Job Overview

We are seeking energetic, target-driven individuals to join our team as Field Promoters for a Telkom campaign. The role involves engaging directly with customers in high-traffic areas, promoting Telkom products and services, and driving sales through face-to-face interaction.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are confident, persuasive, and eager to build a career in sales and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Telkom products and services in assigned field locations (malls, taxi ranks, events, and public spaces)
  • Actively approach and engage potential customers
  • Educate customers on product offerings, benefits, and pricing
  • Generate leads and convert them into successful sales
  • Meet and exceed daily and monthly sales targets
  • Capture customer information accurately and process applications
  • Provide excellent customer service and build positive brand awareness
  • Set up and manage promotional stands and marketing material
  • Provide daily feedback and reporting to the team leader

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 10 / Matric (preferred but not essential)
  • No experience required – training will be provided
  • Sales or customer service experience will be advantageous
  • Must be confident, well-spoken, and presentable
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (additional languages advantageous)
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Must be willing to work outdoors and in various locations
  • Immediate availability is preferred
