We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our small but dedicated team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, customer service skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities ⁠ ⁠

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support to end users (remote or onsite) ⁠ ⁠
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues ⁠ ⁠
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices ⁠ ⁠
• Support Microsoft 365, email systems, and user account administration ⁠ ⁠
• Manage Active Directory users, groups, and permissions ⁠ ⁠
• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi) ⁠ ⁠
• Perform system updates, backups, and patch management ⁠ ⁠
• Assist with server maintenance and virtualization environments ⁠ ⁠
• Document support tickets, resolutions, and IT procedures ⁠ ⁠
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when necessary ⁠ ⁠
• Provide basic user training and IT best practice guidance
