Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership and support the delivery of complex engineering solutions within a dynamic technical environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in system design, technical problem-solving, and project execution.

Role Purpose

The Senior Engineer will provide technical guidance and leadership while ensuring that engineering solutions meet operational and customer requirements. The role involves contributing to system designs, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting innovative engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
• Support the design and implementation of complex engineering solutions
• Develop and review technical documentation and engineering designs
• Conduct quality assurance and ensure compliance with standards
• Engage with clients to define requirements and deliver solutions
• Collaborate with technical teams to optimise system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering challenges
• Lead testing and commissioning activities
• Provide engineering input for proposals and technical improvements
• Foster best practices and innovation within the engineering environment

Qualifications

Essential:

• Engineering Degree

Advantageous:

• Postgraduate qualification (technical or management)
• Professional registration (Pr. Eng)
• Knowledge of energy or metering systems
• Project management exposure
• Power quality experience

Experience Requirements

• 8–10 years of engineering experience
• Proven experience leading technical teams
• Experience in complex project environments
• Background in the electrical power utility and related industry segments
• A strong track record of achievement at Senior Management level (minimum five years with financial results)
• Exposure to senior-level technical decision-making (advantageous)
