They are looking for talented professional to complement their team, in the form of a Senior Wastewater and Water Treatment Expert.

Core Purpose:

·        Lead and deliver professional consulting engineering services related to water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.

·        Deliver innovative and sustainable solutions, including water reuse and reclamation, to address growing water scarcity challenges.

·        This includes feasibility studies, planning, design, procurement, construction supervision, commissioning and project close-out for water and wastewater treatment works as well as tertiary treatment for reclamation across South Africa and Africa.

Minimum Requirements:

Qualification:

·        BSc/BEng in Chemical, Civil, or Process Engineering.

·        Master’s degree in Water, Environmental or Process Engineering (advantageous).

·        Professional Registration (PrEng) with ECSA required.

Experience:

·        15-20 years’ relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.

·        Demonstrated expertise in both greenfield and brownfield projects.

·        Hands-on experience in the design, specification, and commissioning of:

·        Water Treatment Plants (conventional and advanced)

·        Wastewater Treatment Plants (activated sludge, MBR, BNR, etc.).

·        Proven experience in water reuse projects, including potable and non-potable reuse schemes.

·        Familiarity with reuse-specific technologies and regulatory frameworks.

·        Familiarity with national standards such as SANS, SABS, and regulatory requirements.

·        Knowledge of contract administration (GCC, FIDIC).

·        Proficiency in relevant software: AutoCAD, Civil Designer, Civil3D; process simulation tools a plus.
