An industry leader is looking for an experienced Dam Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background with the drive and attention to detail to lead multiple projects. Role requirements:

·       BSc/ BEng in Civil/ Structural Engineering

·       Pr. Eng with ECSA

·       10+ years’ industry experience with dam rehabilitation or new build.

·       Software proficiency: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS

Key responsibilities:

·       Prepare technical designs for concrete and embankment dams and spillways.

·       Conduct dam safety inspections

·       Conduct dam stability, seepage and deformation analyses.

·       Construction oversight.

·       Liase with clients and the Dam Safety Office.
