A leading consultancy in the mining industry is looking for a skilled resident engineer to join their teams in Gauteng and Limpopo.  They are looking for people with strong technical knowledge with a talent for managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

Role requirements:

·       Relevant Construction Management or Civil Engineering Qualification

·       10+ years’ experience

·       Registered as a Pr. with ECSA or SACPCMP

·       Experience managing and supervising large scale earthworks, pump stations, pipelines, and large civil infrastructure projects within the mining industry.

·       Knowledgeable in NEC, FIDIC, GCC conditions of contract.

Key responsibilities:

·       Lead a team of resident engineers

·       Supervise on-site activities

·       Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

·       Prepare monthly progress reports.
