An exciting opportunity is available for a Data Engineer within a reputable manufacturing environment in the Western Cape.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and SSRS reports to support accurate business reporting and decision-making. You will write and optimise SQL queries, develop reports and dashboards, and ensure data integrity across systems. You will focus on performance optimisation, resolving data-related issues and maintaining clear documentation for database and reporting processes.

Candidate Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have 3-5 years of experience in SQL development along with SYSPRO experience. A relevant tertiary qualification, such as a BSc in Information Technology, is required. Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries, report development, and data analysis are essential. Experience in database management, performance tuning, and data visualisation will be advantageous.
