A Johannesburg-based IT services and consulting firm specializing in custom software development, AI integration, and lean startup methodologies, is seeking a Project Manager, for a 36 months (3 years) contract, who will be responsible for leading and overseeing technical projects within an integrated technology development studio.

Responsibilities:

• Project Governance: Apply PRINCE2 principles to manage project lifecycles, ensuring clear documentation, stage-gate approvals, and risk management.

• Service Integration: Align project delivery with ITIL best practices to ensure seamless transition from project phase to operational support.

• Technical Liaison: Act as the primary interface between stakeholders and technical teams (Developers, DevOps, and QA) to define scopes and timelines.

• Resource Management: Utilize Office 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, Planner) to maintain project schedules, track milestones, and facilitate team collaboration.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all digital products and software solutions meet the client's functional requirements and technical standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: A 3-year IT-related qualification (Diploma or Degree).

• Experience:
  * Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience specifically within an IT environment.

  • At least 3 years of experience applying PRINCE2 methodology.

  • At least 3 years of experience working within an ITIL framework.

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience utilizing Office 365 for project coordination and reporting.

• Expertise in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

• Proficiency in structured project management software.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and digital product ecosystems.
