A financial services company in Pretoria is looking for an experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper with strong accounting, reconciliation, and payroll experience to manage daily financial operations and support statutory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately capture financial data, including invoices and bank statements, using Pastel Accounting
• Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, debtors, and creditors
• Prepare and submit statutory taxes such as VAT and PAYE
• Handle customer queries related to financial transactions
• Process journals for income statements and balance sheets
• Prepare accounting records up to Trial Balance
• Execute monthly payroll functions on Pastel Payroll
• Perform other financial duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
• Own reliable transport
• Computer literacy in MS Office, Pastel Partner, and Pastel Payroll
• Proactive, detail-oriented, efficient, meticulous, and self-motivated
