Key Responsibilities

• Control the stocks in the production area to ensure that material is available when required and that there are no stock losses – stock takes need to be kept under control.

• Produce product in required sequence.

• Maintain a good level of housekeeping in the area under control.

• Liaise with the laboratory and stores department.

• Check QC results and take the necessary action.

• Ensure that the equipment is operated and maintained correctly.

• Enforce discipline and timekeeping onto Subordinates.

• Ensure that the sequence of the plan/machines are followed strictly to ensure we supply the customers in our promised time frame.

• Utilise all QWIX equipment for your area of responsibility and make sure your Operators use it correctly.

• Ensure all the scales in your area of responsibility are calibrated and regularly checked for conformance.

• Meet production targets.

• Manage your subordinates and discipline where required to do so.

• Ensure Job Card instruction is being read and met at all times.
