Unlock Your Potential! We’re looking for a passionate Renovations Scanner Operator to join Indigo Brands in Epping, Cape Town. In this role, you will you have to perform various tasks as part of a team, operate manual machinery and assist with the production of part processed and fully finished goods. You will be required to adhere to GMP and Hygiene principles as specified in the relevant company policies or procedures. You will be required to comply with Quality policy. You are required to comply with any GMP signage when entering an area. You are required to inform immediate supervisor of any instance in your immediate environment which affects GMP.                   

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to: Logistics Controller

Key Areas of Impact:
Receives authorised returns from Pharmacies, Department and Food chain stores

• Check if returns are logged on the share drive as per SOP (Standard Operating Procedure)
• Weigh individual consignments and ensure that the waybill is signed and endorsed if any discrepancy.
• Process collections, partial and full returns on SAP.
• Process all refurbished stock and disassemble, return if it is poor quality.

Capture stock on SAP

• Ensure that all refurbished stock are transferred to Distribution Centre on SAP as per SOP.

Quarterly stock takes

• Ensure stock in the Renovations department can be accurately accounted for as per SOP.

Attend green area meetings

• Participate in green areas.
• Discuss any problems that may occur.
• Make suggestions in terms of work flow improvements.
• Discuss performance achieved and work planned for the day ahead.
• Ensure that green area is always neat and tidy and adhere to green area’s code of conduct for a meeting.
• To ensure all are trained in plotting WCO – KPD’s

Health and Safety Procedures

• Ensure the relevant safety uniform is worn as supplied by the Company.
• Adhere to safety rules for example, no jewellery to be worn and closed shoes to be worn at all times.
• Report any health or safety issues to the Supervisor or Safety representatives.

Queries

• All queries related to the receiving, scanning, refurbishment and stock transfers must be resolved immediately; alternatively they must be escalated to the Supervisor

Housekeeping

• Keeping aisles and stacked products neat tidy and dust free.
• Ensure that products and outer cases are sealed properly and a good saleable condition.

Performance

• Process the stock returned within two working days.

What It Takes to Succeed:

Experience that set you up for success:                       

• Minimum 1 year exposure in a Warehousing Operations and FMCG environment
• Minimum 1 year experience in Debriefing
• Strong work experience on SAP

Qualifications & Certifications that will contribute to your success:

• Grade 12
• NQF5 qualification in Warehousing - advantageous
