External Sales Representative – Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning (JB5918)

N$16 – N$18 000 per month +commission and company vehicle

A well-established refrigeration and air-conditioning wholesale company is seeking a driven External Sales Representative to grow branch revenue and expand market presence in the Windhoek region.
This role requires a proactive and commercially focused individual who can build strong client relationships, generate new business opportunities, and drive sales performance within the technical refrigeration and air-conditioning market.
You will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, maintaining existing accounts, identifying project opportunities, and supporting the overall profitability and growth of the branch.
Note: This position is open to residents of Windhoek, Namibia only.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric / NQF Level 4 (essential)
Sales or Marketing qualification
Minimum of 5 years external sales experience within refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a wholesale or retail environment
Valid driver’s license
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Ability to identify business opportunities and drive sales growth
Strong communication and negotiation skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Achieve daily sales and profit targets as agreed with management.
Generate new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement and market development.
Identify project opportunities within contractor and commercial markets.
Drive long-term revenue growth and branch profitability.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Promote the company’s brand and reputation within the market.
Work closely with contractors and industry partners to secure new projects and sales opportunities.
Technical Sales Support:
Provide customers with product information and technical guidance where required.
Prepare product designs and quotations for commercial refrigeration and related solutions.
Market Intelligence & Reporting:
Provide regular market feedback and intelligence to management.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities.
Branch & Operational Support:
Support branch operations where required including stock counts, inventory checks, and administrative tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and SHEQ standards.
