We are looking for the ideal candidate to drive B2B sales growth across the Western Cape and surrounding regions by generating new business, building strong client relationships, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience from first contact through to repeat orders.
Core Responsibilities
- New Business Development
- Prospect daily and actively generate your own opportunities.
- Cold call, visit sites, network, and open doors.
- Focus on key industries: corporate, construction, hospitality, schools, and resellers.
- Convert first meetings into paying customers.
- Sales Pipeline Ownership
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead → meeting → quote → close → repeat business.
- Maintain complete oversight of every opportunity — no missed follow-ups.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline to consistently achieve targets.
- Ensure all leads are actioned and no opportunities slip through the cracks.
- Client Relationship Management
- Turn prospects into loyal long-term clients.
- Understand each client’s operational needs and recommend tailored workwear solutions.
- Build strong relationships that drive recurring revenue.
- Deliver a consistent, professional Curve Gear brand experience at every touchpoint.
- Sales Execution
- Conduct client meetings, fittings, and product presentations.
- Identify client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Negotiate pricing within company guidelines.
- Order & Process Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate quoting and smooth order fulfilment.
- Ensure orders are correctly confirmed, paid for, and executed on time.
- Communicate timelines clearly and manage expectations throughout the process.
- Market Presence & Networking
- Represent Curve Gear at networking events, expos, and industry gatherings.
- Build strong connections with local businesses.
- Actively grow the brand’s presence across the Western Cape region.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of B2B sales experience (workwear, apparel, corporate wear, or related fields preferred).
- Existing client base is an advantage.
- Strong drive, resilience, and a proactive approach to generating new business.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take full ownership of results.
- Confident communicator with solid presentation skills.
- Valid Code 08 driver’s license and reliable vehicle (essential).
