Our client is a well-established, premium travel company specialising in bespoke African safari experiences. They are focused on delivering exceptional customer journeys through a combination of deep industry expertise and thoughtfully built digital solutions. They are currently seeking a Lead Digital Solutions Builder to join their team in Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years’ relevant experience, operating at a senior or lead level.
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end digital products or capabilities from discovery to production.
• Strong hands-on engineering ability with sound technical judgement.
• Experience building and deploying production-ready systems (not just prototypes or internal tools).
• Demonstrated ability to leverage modern AI tools to significantly enhance delivery outcomes.
• Experience working across the full product lifecycle including discovery, design, development, integration, deployment, and iteration.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and building robust, production-grade systems.
• Ability to work independently in a lean, high-ownership environment.

Technical Competencies:

• Experience in modern application development languages and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API development and systems integration.
• Experience with databases and data-driven workflows.
• Exposure to secure cloud platforms and environment management.
• Experience integrating AI models, automation, and orchestration into solutions.
• Comfortable working with AI-assisted development tools and workflows.
