About Our Client & The Role We are exclusively representing a top-tier European engineering consultancy. They operate strictly in the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Basic Engineering, and Detailed Engineering phases. They do not do physical construction, installation, or site maintenance.

We are looking for the intellectual architect behind the mechanical processes of complex industrial plants (gas, food, and chemistry). You will translate abstract parameters into robust, safe mechanical designs for entire process installations.

Visa & Experience Requirements:

Due to strict Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) Visa salary thresholds, we are targeting:

• Young Professionals: Approx. 3 to 4 years of pure design experience (Must be under 30 years old at the time of application).

• Senior Experts: 10+ years of pure design experience.

What You Will Do (The Design Tasks)

Your daily intellectual production includes:

• Developing, calculating, and drafting complex Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

• Executing advanced mass and energy balance calculations to ensure thermodynamic efficiency.

• Performing rigorous pipe stress analysis to calculate the impact of thermal expansion, internal pressure, and weight on piping networks.

• Writing detailed technical specifications and datasheets for rotating equipment (pumps, compressors) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers).
