About Our Client & The Role

Are you a master of structural mechanics, catenary curves, and spatial design? We are exclusively representing one of Europe’s leading engineering consultancies. They design the sustainable high-voltage infrastructure that connects cities and powers the energy transition.

Important note: Our client operates exclusively in the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), Basic Engineering, and Detailed Engineering phases. They are pure consulting engineers. They do not do physical construction, tower erection, stringing, or site maintenance. We are looking for the intellectual architect behind complex Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL).

Visa & Experience Requirements (Please Read Carefully):

Due to the strict salary thresholds tied to the Dutch Highly Skilled Migrant (HSM) Visa, we are specifically targeting two distinct experience-to-salary ratios for this role:

• Young Professionals: Approx. 3 to 4 years of pure design experience (Must be under 30 years old at the time of application to meet the specific visa salary criteria).

• Senior Experts: 10+ years of pure design experience (Qualifying for the senior visa salary criteria).

What You Will Do (The Design Tasks)

As our OHTL Design Engineer, your daily intellectual production includes:

• Iteratively executing Tower Spotting and line profiling to optimize routes while strictly respecting legal clearance violations.

• Calculating complex Sag-Tension parameters under extreme weather scenarios and generating accurate stringing charts.

• Processing raw helicopter or drone-based LiDAR and survey data into highly accurate 3D CAD terrain models.

• Performing deep Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on steel lattice towers, monopoles, and foundations to ensure structural integrity against wind and ice loads.

• Executing electromagnetic field (EMF) analyses and thermal rating calculations.
