This position will be based at the Ad Duwayhi Gold Plant O&M Contract.
Description
The purpose of this position is to maintain, repair and replacements including the diagnoses of issue on machinery and equipment according to technical OEM specification and sound engineering practise.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Over-inspect subordinates daily to ensure maintenance is done according to organisational standards requirements.
- Investigate and diagnose problems and breakdowns to determine resource requirements and order spares according to Company procedures.
- Perform inspections in accordance with the Planned Maintenance system Oracle, Maaden MSHEM system, DRA Saudi Arabia procedures and OEM requirements and
- Analyse all E&I breakdowns of the previous shift, weekly, month and or quarter, do RCA, and implement actions to prevent repeat issues.
- Coordinate and monitor equipment availability to ensure adherence to production parameters.
- Continuously analyse equipment efficiencies to recommend or implement improvements and changes to maximise operations.
- Communicate equipment information and changes to relevant stakeholders to minimise production delays.
- Ensure that all installations and equipment are safe and in good working order after task completion always ensure MSHEM compliance.
- Attend breakdowns immediately to minimize downtime.
- Determine work schedules in conjunction with other engineering/process teams to ensure equipment availability and optimal utilisation in the relevant sections.
- Consult with production teams on maintenance activities that affect production.
- Support the achievement of production and maintenance performance levels safely.
- Perform administrative duties to ensure record accuracy and availability, budget compliance and spares availability.
Qualification Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification registered at NQF Level 4, including relevant NATED qualifications such as the N3 Certificate
- N4-N6 or equivalent qualification
- Valid section 13 Trade test / Section 26(D) certificate
- Valid driver’s license code B, EB or C1, to be able to obtain a Saudi Arabia LDV License
Experience and Skills Requirement
- Minimum 20 years’ experience in Electrical maintenance with at least 5 to 8 years of supervisory experience, preferably on Gold Plants.
- Relevant planned maintenance system training
- English language proficiency.
- Valid MV/HT MQA Certification
- Instrumentation experience and knowledge including VSD and Soft Starter experience.
- Must posses’ instrumentation experience and knowledge
- Must poses leadership skills and any management courses would be advantage
- Medically sound with valid fitness certificate.
- Sound knowledge of: SAG Mills, Ball Mills, with slipring motor experience.
- Appointment under 2.9.2 Mine Health and Safety act would be advantageous.
- Foreman training certificate would advantageous.
- Excell, PowerPoint, Word, MS Projects and Outlook Email (Microsoft office suite) experience.
- Expat Experience will be advantageous
