⭐ Role Purpose

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading complex business analysis, driving operational optimisation, and ensuring alignment between CRM initiatives and broader Merchant Division strategy.

This role owns:
• Complex requirements elicitation and validation
• Deep‑dive process analysis and optimisation
• Strategic business alignment across CRM and Merchant Division
• Documentation, modelling, reporting, and analytical governance
• Mentorship of junior analysts and implementation oversight

This is a senior analytical leadership role focused on transforming business operations, improving efficiency, and enabling data‑driven decision‑making across the CRM function.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

📈 Requirements & Process Analysis

• Elicit, analyse, and validate requirements for large‑scale business projects
• Conduct end‑to‑end process reviews, identify inefficiencies and risks, and recommend improvements
• Support data‑driven decision‑making through structured analysis and insight

🧩 Strategic Alignment & Collaboration

• Partner with executives, managers, and cross‑functional teams to align CRM initiatives to business needs
• Ensure requirements and solutions directly support merchant growth strategies
• Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and strategic planning activities

📑 Documentation & Reporting

• Create detailed documentation, business cases, process maps, and analytical reports
• Build models and artefacts to support implementation planning
• Maintain analytical standards, governance, and traceability

👥 Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior business analysts
• Support execution, implementation, and change management for approved recommendations
• Promote analytical excellence across the CRM department

🎓 Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Advanced skills in tools such as SQL, BPMN, or equivalent
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation capability

Preferred

• Certifications such as CBAP
• Experience leading analysis on large‑scale CRM, fintech, or payments systems
