β Purpose of the Role
The Executive Growth Manager β Namibia owns the overall business unit growth, performance, and general management of the Lesaka operation within the country.
This role carries full accountability for:
β’ Profit & loss management
β’ Sales performance delivery (to or above budget)
β’ Sales team cost control
β’ Device deployment and control within the country
The role leads both company sales teams and independent agents, while ensuring operational alignment, brand integrity, customer retention, and strategic execution across the Namibian market.
You will join a multidisciplinary African leadership team driving expansion and financial inclusion across the continent β with the opportunity to build a lasting legacy within Lesaka Technologies.
π Key Responsibilities
π₯ Leadership & Development
β’ Lead the entire Lesaka Namibia team to build culture and align initiatives to strategy and budget
β’ Develop and lead field sales managers, sales reps, and customer retention teams
β’ Recruit skilled, high-performing staff aligned to the countryβs growth strategy
β’ Build strong partnerships with independent Sales Agents
β’ Foster trust with Head Office and other country leaders; operate independently while escalating when necessary
π Sales & Marketing Execution
β’ Grow country VAS and LesakaPay revenue to meet/exceed budget
β’ Drive Direct Sales and Agency performance using CRM insights
β’ Identify geographic and trading node opportunities for targeted deployment
β’ Strengthen Lesaka brand presence through field marketing and staff/agent alignment
π€ Customer Retention
β’ Monitor device performance to maximise ARPU and lifecycle
β’ Ensure accurate customer segmentation and Priority Customer support alignment
β’ Prevent agent vs direct channel churn and overlapping deployments
π§© Asset Management
β’ Manage vending device stock, allocations, and controls
β’ Ensure timely collection and return of faulty devices
β’ Oversee administration of company vehicles and mobile assets
β’ Collaborate with Cash Connect to ensure drop-safe performance
π° Cost Control
β’ Maintain staff and operational costs within budget
β’ Control travel, logistics, and office expenses
π Administration & Reporting
β’ Ensure the admin team is structured and resourced
β’ Build a strong partnership with the country admin supervisor
β’ Deliver weekly/monthly reporting to Head Office
β’ Align retention reporting with Business Support and Sales
π‘ Competencies β Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
Commercial, Leadership & Technical
β’ Knowledge of VAS, prepaid, and payments industry
β’ FMCG, liquor, or high-volume distribution experience preferred
β’ Strong track record in leading dispersed sales teams
β’ High commercial acumen with cost-centre management experience
β’ Entrepreneurial, agile mindset
β’ Strong Excel & data analysis ability
Education
β’ Matric exemption (minimum)
β’ Degree/Diploma in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred
β’ Computer literacy essential
Admin / Communication / Technical
β’ Strong organisational and planning abilities
β’ Excellent numeric and analytical skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication
