A leading agri-business in the food industry requires a dynamic Administrative Clerk / Reception Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will provide operational and administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations within the retail and distribution environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Maintain and manage filing systems
•Operate the switchboard and direct calls to the relevant departments
•Assist the Debtors Clerk with reconciliations
•Capture and issue invoices and credit notes
•Maintain accurate records of cash sales and outstanding invoices
•Oversee stock and basic maintenance of photocopy machines
•Procure and manage office stationery
•Gate Access Control
Required Skills
- Admin: 2 to 3 years
- Organisation Skills
- Computer Skills (Windows): 2 to 3 years
Candidate Requirements
Desired Experience & Qualifications
·3-year Degree or Diploma in Administration, Business, or related field (advantageous)
·Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in FMCG or retail support environment
·Basic computer literacy – MS Outlook, Word, Excel
·Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
·Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Professional demeanor and strong problem-solving skills
·Bilingual in Afrikaans & English.
·Must be willing to work Saturdays on a rotation basis if and when required.
