SHEQ OfficerGermiston & Midrand1 Year Contract positionSalary: R18 000 - R30 000k CTC per month

Minimum requirements:

Qualifications and Experience:

National Diploma in Safety Management or a relevant technical discipline.
âSAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent SHEQ certification is essential.
âMinimum 3–5 years in a heavy equipment, mining, or construction environment.
âProven experience in managing SHEQ files for major utility contracts and a deep understanding of the OHS Act.
âExceptional administrative accuracy, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Roles will include but not limited to:

Implement and maintain ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 management systems.
âConduct comprehensive Baseline and Continuous Risk Assessments (HIRA) for heavy machinery and mobile crane operations.
âPrepare SHEQ Files and returnable safety documentation.
âLead root-cause investigations and ensure the timeous close-out of all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
âConduct safety inductions and toolbox talks to optimize operator synergy and safety awareness.
