This role is hands-on, combining practical maintenance work with basic supervisory duties to ensure facilities, equipment, and infrastructure are well-maintained and operating efficiently. ðŸ“‹ Key Responsibilities🔧 Maintenance OperationsPerform daily maintenance and repair work (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenanceEnsure all equipment and facilities are functioning optimallyRespond promptly to maintenance issues and breakdowns👷 Supervision & Team CoordinationSupervise and guide maintenance staff on daily tasksAllocate duties and ensure work is completed to standardMonitor productivity and quality of workAssist in training and mentoring junior staff🏗️ Repairs & Project SupportAssist with minor projects, upgrades, and refurbishmentsCoordinate with contractors when requiredEnsure work is completed on time and meets quality standards⚙️ Compliance & SafetyEnsure adherence to health and safety regulationsPromote safe working practices within the teamConduct basic safety checks and report hazards📊 AdministrationMaintain maintenance logs and job cardsMonitor tools, equipment, and stock levelsReport maintenance issues and costs to senior management

🎯 Minimum Requirements
🎓 Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Maintenance, Electrical, Plumbing, or related field
• Trade Test (advantageous)

🧠 Experience

• 2–4 years’ experience in a maintenance role
• Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role (preferred)
• Experience in hospitality, lodges, or facilities maintenance is advantageous

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
• Electrical systems
• Plumbing systems
• General building maintenance
• Preventative maintenance practices
• Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely
