RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable contractor in Cape Town is seeking a motivated and hands-on Junior Civil Foreman to join their site team. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing construction professional to gain further experience on major civil infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in supervising daily site operations and workforce activities
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors
• Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and programme
• Monitor productivity, quality, and progress of construction activities
• Support the Site Agent / Senior Foreman in planning and execution
• Enforce site health, safety, and environmental requirements
• Maintain site records, reports, and diaries
• Assist with setting out and checking levels where required
• Identify and report potential risks or delays

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering or similar
• 2–3 years’ experience on civil infrastructure projects
• Experience in earthworks, roads, stormwater, pipelines, or municipal services
• Basic understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Strong leadership potential and ability to manage site labour
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work outdoors in a site environment
• Valid driver’s license

Benefits:

Salary:  R264K – R300K CTC per annum
