Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Park Manager with at least 10 years of experience in wildlife management and a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental protection. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the park, including managing staff, ensuring the maintenance and conservation of the park's wildlife and vegetation, and promoting environmental education and conservation efforts within the park.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage park staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
- Implement and oversee wildlife management plans to maintain a healthy ecosystem within the park
- Monitor and maintain park habitats, wildlife populations, and vegetation
- Develop and implement programs to educate the public about wildlife conservation and environmental protection
- Work with local authorities, conservation organizations, and other stakeholders to promote and protect the park's natural resources
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and policies
- Develop and implement strategies to increase park visitation and revenue
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in environmental protection or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in wildlife management, preferably in a park setting
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Knowledge of environmental laws and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
