Purpose
The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for Multiple key functions:
Customer Care, the complete warehouse operations, and production line, the delivery of professional, helpful, high-quality assistance before, during, and after the customer’s requirements are met.
This is a function where procedures are essential in encouraging responsiveness to our client’s needs and finding methods to support the company’s goals. Managing and overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.
This will involve overseeing team performance, expediting the receiving and shipping of goods, and ensuring efficient, organized storage. Daily, weekly and monthly admin tasks are completed on time, accurately and in full
Management of The Following Activities
General
Ensure the implementation and maintenance of all systems, policies and procedures
Ensure that all relevant deadlines & cut-off times are adhered to Ensure effective use of consumables (pallets, wrap etc)
Ensure casual labor is fully utilized during the time needed
Communicate any discrepancies to CCO Manager.
Communicating with vendors regarding delays or problems and notifying the CCO Manager.
Tracking outstanding purchase order with Vendors
Maintaining good working relationships with suppliers/customers/vendors
Conduct any ad hoc tasks as requested by Management
Adhere to all safety policies and regulations
Safe unloading of vehicles and containers
Area is compliant with OHSA standards
Production
Issue of production raw materials
Print picking of production materials
Open of job cards
Monitoring of WIP
Stock
Ensure safekeeping of stock items
Facilitate and oversee stock takes
Investigate and resolve stock shortages
Process exceptions to receipt of products and communicate to supply.
Monitoring of GIT (Goods in transit) stock
Resolve issues with Suppliers
Accurate Binning of stock and ensure bins are clearly marked and easily identifiable.
No stock moves without paperwork
Investigating short picks, no stocks and/or missing on shelf stock.
Stock rotation
Finance & Admin.
Control branch petty cash
Manual Orders
Conduct any ad hoc tasks
Apply company Policy and Procedures
Creation of Capex for Asset purchases
Housekeeping.
Ensure clean work environment.
Reporting
Compile and complete all financial and other reports required by management

Candidate Requirements
Education, Qualification and ExperienceNational Matric Certificate
Fire industry experience advantageous.
Related Degree or Diploma in Logistics / Warehouse / Supply Chain Management
Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehousing and distribution Minimum 5 years Administration experience
Experience in FMCG/distribution industry is preferred.
Previous experience in Syspro or a related ERP system is essential.

Good knowledge of management methods and techniques
Awareness of industry’s latest technology trends and applications
Ability to think strategically.
Strong client-facing and communication skills (customer service focused)
Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
Financial and analytical capabilities to plan budgets, monitor inventory, assess data, and create reports
Deadline-Oriented
