This position offers the opportunity to apply your fitting skills to maintain, repair, fabricate, revamp, and assemble mechanical system structural components in a plant environment. Your ability to read and interpret technical drawings, experience with Arc and CO2 welding, and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, drive-shafts, and spindles will be invaluable in this role.

Candidate Requirements

Job Requirements:

§ Matric, Red Seal Fitter Trade Test, and valid driver’s licence with own transport are essential

§ Apprenticeship with at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment

§ Experience with Arc and CO2 welding, as well as boiler making and fitting

§ Strong technical knowledge on hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.
