KAMOA COPPER SA is looking for an Executive Organizational Growth
The Kamoa Copper Mine is a joint venture between Ivanhoe Mines (39.6%), Zijin Mining Group (39.6%), Crystal River Global Limited (0.8%) and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (20%). It's a very large, near-surface, flat-lying, stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, at approximately 25 kilometers west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi.

To define and direct the organizational growth strategy that supports the business strategy with the aim of achieving an integrated employee experience for all. Design and monitor programmes to improve productivity and inculcate a culture that promotes operational excellence throughout the organization, whilst keeping employees engaged and motivated and oversee a strategically aligned, customer-centric employee operations support function. The scope of the role includes the following functions, namely, Human Resources, Transformation, Training, HRIS, Contractor Management, Camp & Facilities and Employee Services. In addition, this role is responsible for Strategic Organizational Development.
You will have the following:
- Must have a post graduate degree in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or equivalent
- Must have at least 15 years of progressive experience in People Operations roles
- Must have at least 8 + years in senior leadership positions managing multiple people operational functions.
- Must have demonstrated experience leading HR transformation initiatives and a proven track record implementing and optimizing HRIS and HR technology
- Must have experience managing contractors, facilities and workplace services in a multicultural mining industry
- Proficiency in business English is mandatory. Working knowledge of French will be considered highly advantageous.

- Oversee a strategically aligned, customer-centric employee services support function
- Manage a division that builds people, values difference and creates an inclusive work environment
- Forecast, secure and manage the budget as per Delegation of Authority Matrix
- Champion transformation in terms of people, automation/ digitisation and sustainability and provide timely and robust change management to underpin initiatives
- Implement a work ethos that is committed to safeguarding employee safety, health and wellbeing
- Establish reporting best practice for area of responsibility
