Job Summary

An established company in Cape Town is looking for a qualified and experienced Drone Pilot, with an Arial application pest control permit from DALRRD. This position will oversee the ground and flight operations of an unmanned aircraft system. As part of ground operations, you will perform safety checks and troubleshoot mechanical equipment issues ensuring that it is used in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Your other duties involve making the right decisions at the right time during each flight, which includes taking into account the weather, route, fuel or technical requirements and objective.

Duties:

· Operate drones for aerial imaging and data collection

· Plan flight paths and manage takeoff and landing of drone

· Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks

· Ensure drone flight operations comply with relevant laws and regulations

· Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment

· Monitor and analyze drone data

· Update and maintain flight logs
