Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale Finance Modernisation Programme within a leading financial institution. This is a multi-stream, enterprise-wide initiative focused on transforming finance systems, including subledger, reporting, and cloud-based ledger optimisation.

The successful candidate will manage key project streams end-to-end, working closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple project streams within the Finance Modernisation Programme.

• Deliver end-to-end project execution (requirements → design → build → test → deployment).

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Manage RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and ensure proactive mitigation.

• Ensure alignment with PMO governance, reporting standards and stage gates.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, design workshops, and stakeholder meetings.

• Drive stakeholder engagement across business, finance and technical teams.

• Manage vendors and implementation partners to ensure delivery against SLAs.

• Provide regular status reporting to steering committees and executive stakeholders.

• Ensure quality control, deliverable signoffs and implementation readiness.

• Support change management, training coordination and user adoption.

• Oversee transition to business-as-usual and post-implementation reviews.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-level projects within a financial services or banking environment.

• Strong understanding of finance systems and processes.

• Experience managing complex, multi-stream programmes.

• Hands-on experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong stakeholder management across business and technical teams.

• Experience working with vendors and external delivery partners.

Advantageous

• Experience in finance system transformation or modernisation programmes.

• Exposure to cloud migration (Finance systems preferred).

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or banking environments.
