Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Line Haul Driver to transport goods efficiently and safely between designated locations. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license (Code 14) and a valid PdP, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and experience with long-haul driving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles to transport freight between hubs and distribution centres.
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining compliance with all transportation laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Secure load properly to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours, mileage, and load details using electronic logging devices.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure safe operation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and report any delays, mechanical issues, or accidents promptly.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on the vehicle as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures for handling freight and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid Driver’s License (Code 14)
• Minimum 3+yearsof experience in long-haul or regional driving.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to operate GPS and electronic logging devices (ELDs).
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift and secure freight as needed.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with trailers.
• Mechanical knowledge for basic truck troubleshooting.
• Previous experience working in logistics or freight transportation.

Work Environment & Schedule:

• Long-distance driving with potential overnight stays.
• Work shifts may include weekends, nights, and holidays.
