Role Description
This is an on-site half day fixed-term contract role for an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner. The Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for providing primary health care services, focusing on occupational health. This includes assessing and managing workplace injuries and illnesses, promoting and maintaining employee health and safety, conducting health surveillance, and working closely with employers to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Site: Germiston, Gauteng
Period: 01 May 2026 – 31 December 2026
Clinic Hours: Monday to Thursday 07h00 to 12h00 and Friday 07h00 to 09H00
Hours per Week: 25 / Hours per Month: 100

Candidate Requirements
- Qualified in Occupational Health Nursing (Diploma / Degree)
- Primary Health or clinical skills qualification will be an advantage
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC)
- Qualification / Certificate in Spirometry and Audiometry registered with SASOHN
- Accredited course in Dispensing
- 3-5 years experience in the Occupational Health setting
- Effective Client Liaison Communication
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Presentation skills
- Computer literacy
- Professional conduct with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Experience with occupational health regulations and standards
