Duties:

• Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor to prepare Estimates, Cost Plans, Bills of Quantities, Specifications and Schedule of Rates
• Must be able to do measurements on civil work (Digs, Trenching etc.)
• Preparing preliminary estimates for conceptual projects
• Assisting with tender documents
• Assist with determining key variables for cost and other estimates
• Assist with gathering first information from sites
• Conduct research to obtain data on labour costs, materials, and production times etc.
• Obtain and review quotes from subcontractors
• Create and submit tenders to Projects Managers, clients, etc
• Communication between different departments on current projects and requirements
•  Conduct accurate cost analyses and estimations for the organization
