Education

Matric
1 year Sales and Marketing related qualification at NQF level 5

Knowledge and experience

5 years working experience as a sales representative in a service industry of which at least last 3 consecutive years were in the clearing and forwarding industry
Servicing & marketing principles & practice. International Trade principles & practice
External business environment. Company service charge rates
Tariff calculation concepts
Company terms of payment
Computer literacy(MS Office Package)
Carrier & depot conditions of trade
National currencies and international codes. INCO Terms
Verbal communication – advanced
Business opportunism. Presentation & Negotiation
Client/service orientation. Situation analysis & problem solving
Judgment & decision making. Creative & innovative thinking
Interpersonal sensitivity
Estimate and pricing analysis and knowledge
Discipline in maintaining required weekly call ratio
Discipline in acquiring quality not quantity client base
