TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,163,022 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: LIB 08/26 ● LIS HEAD OFFICE, NDABENI
Requirements:
- A relevant B degree in Library Science
- Eight (8) years’ relevant experience
- Computer literacy in MS Office.
Key performance areas:
- Manage the development and implementation of professional specialist streams, professional library programmes and integrated programmes
- Identify, develop and implement immediate, short- and long-term objectives and plans associated with the provision of functional support for Professional Services and Programmes
- Conduct analysis and make proposals and recommendations about the functional area of operations to enhance service delivery in the department
- Develop and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to optimise opportunities for the sustainable development of professional streams and maximise the opportunities for integrated programme delivery
- Develop, lead, and support departmental staff to create a high-performance culture
- Supervise the planning and execution of specialist projects and programmes
- Prepare and develop library staff in professional, leadership and skill building roles and initiatives through targeted development strategies.
