PRINCIPAL PROFESSIONAL OFFICER: BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT
TCOE SALARY COMMENCING FROM R1,307,905 TO R1,691,130 PER ANNUM ● REF NO: CSH 01/26 ● CAPE TOWN
Requirements:
- A relevant BSc Eng or BEng (Industrial)
- Minimum EIGHT (8) years’ or and more relevant experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
Key performance areas:
- Continuous business improvement:
- Identify and implement initiatives to enhance the process, system and people capability across the organisation
- Drive the adoption of continuous improvement frameworks and promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Technology integration:
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and data analytics in process improvement
- Evaluate and implement software tools or systems to support continuous improvement efforts
- Contribute in terms of software specification development and selection
- Project and programme management:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery
- Performance measurement and reporting:
- Define and monitor best practice Key Performance Indicators (KPIs
- Quantify and report on the financial impact of improvement projects and conduct regular performance reviews
- Change management:
- Plan and execute strategies that support smooth transition during organisational change
- This includes stakeholder engagement, communication, training, and impact analysis to ensure high adoption rates and minimal resistance
- Success is measured by the effectiveness of change implementation, employee engagement and sustained performance improvements.
