Job Purpose

To machine and manufacture precision components used in the repair and refurbishment of electrical rotating machinery using lathes, milling machines, and other machine shop equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and other machining equipment.
• Manufacture and refurbish shafts, sleeves, housings, and other components.
• Machine worn or damaged parts to restore equipment functionality.
• Interpret engineering drawings and machining tolerances.
• Conduct precision measurements and quality checks on machined parts.
• Assist with fabrication and modification of mechanical components.
• Maintain machining equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Ensure adherence to quality control and safety procedures.
